With the arrival of a new season comes changes. We’re excited to announce a new library schedule and a few new programs that will begin this spring.
Effective April 10, the library will be open:
- Tuesday Noon ~ 8 pm
- Wednesday through Friday 10 am ~ 6 pm
On April 19 the library will begin holding a Preschool Story Hour every Thursday at 10 am. The program is open to all and will include stories, crafts, activities, and lots of fun. No registration is required.
Please join us on Friday, April 20 at 10 am as we honor the town’s youngest residents during our annual Children’s Book Dedication. The ceremony will be followed by The Science Magic Show performed by educator, Steve Lechner. This program will be held in the JD Blake School auditorium and everyone is welcome to attend.
Do you have a Kindle? Do you enjoy listening to books during your morning commute? The library has joined in a consortium to offer ebook and audiobook titles through the popular service known as OverDrive. The New Hampshire Downloadable Books Consortium has made thousands of titles available, for all ages and in all genres. We expect to launch this exciting new service in May! For now, you can explore the growing collection of ebooks and audio books. When we’re ready, you’ll be able to use your library card to checkout and download books to your computer to enjoy immediately, or transfer them to your iPod, eBook reader or other compatible devices.
