Adults and children are welcome to drop by on February 7, 11 AM-3 PM and create a yummy Valentine to enjoy or give away. This program is free and all are welcome! Are you a parent or caregiver of a preschooler? Consider joining us for Children’s Hour on this date; We’ll listen to a Valentine’s Day story and then paint cookies.
Make & Take Sign Event

The Friends of Hill Public Library will be hosting a workshop with Reta Frekot of Picked and Polished on Friday, February 15, 6-8:30 PM. How many times have you seen a sign online that you’d love to make yourself? This event is your chance to make a Pinterest dream a reality! Choose from one of 8 designs and get ready to create something beautiful for your home with Reta, the Friends of Hill Public Library and Dixie Belle Paint Products. You’ll leave with a professional looking sign that is uniquely yours. While you’re getting crafty, Reta will teach you some of her go-to tips for getting rustic and farmhouse finishes. The Dixie Belle Products and sticky stencil you’ll use are so easy peasy that the creative possibilities are endless. We will also have some fabulous raffle items for you to snag at this event. A variety of snack items will be available.

The cost to book your spot is $35 and adults and high school students are welcome. There are NO REFUNDS for this workshop because of the individual preparation that is done ahead of time to ensure you have an amazing experience. If for some reason we have to cancel for inclement weather, we will transfer your credit to the rescheduled date or you can use the credit towards a different Picked and Polished workshop in the future.
